Pop Up Fair

Why is it that I remember pop up fairs being so glamorous and fun and less ghetto?  We took the kiddos to one on Saturday with our neighbors.  It was grossly expensive and kind of nasty.  The kids had a blast and I really enjoyed my funnel cake (even though it is greasier then I remember).   Leo had his first taste of cotton candy.  He wasn't really sure about it and Gwen wouldn't eat it because it reminded her of fur.  Probably telling us we should really vacuum more often...........
