I love you. I love your creaminess. I love how you taste with chocolate. You give life to my morning shake, you bring me a smile when I eat my PB&J, and in the past I enjoyed smearing you over a Chips Ahoy cookie (or 5). I enjoy you every day and you will be missed. Know that I will always have a soft spot in my taste buds for you, but must say goodbye. I am leaving you for.......dare I say it...........soy nut butter.
My reason for leaving you is easy. You caused hives and swelling all over my 11 month old son. He only had a taste and next thing I know, he is screaming and itchy. I have spent the past 34 years loving you, but that love is nothing compared to that of the little man, who is in a Benedryl coma up in his crib.
I know you will have a lifetime of making people happy. I will enjoy my lifetime without you.........well actually the next 18 years before he goes to college or on any kid-free vacation. Some people will vacation to booze it up...........me, I will be consuming large amounts of peanut butter. It's a love affair that will never end.
