It Was So Bad...........She Jumped!
Last night Gwen had the biggest meltdown that Mike and I have ever seen. She was a complete wreck for at least 30 minutes all because it was time to come inside. She was inconsolable. We tried time-out, we tried threatening her, and finally we got her in her jammies and put her in her crib. She did not like that in the least. She decided it was so bad that she jumped. Yep, she jumped out of her crib. All we heard was a thud and then the crying getting closer and closer to us. That seemed to have made her stop crying which was good, but now we know it is time for the toddler bed.
For the record, Mike and I handled the meltdown horribly. We need a plan of action for the next one.

We've Created A Monster..............
for Mike. Whenever Gwen would want something on a different floor of our house we would time Mike to run and get it. It was a great way for her to practice counting. Well now, whenever Gwen wants something from a different floor she says "1, 2, 3" and makes Mike go get it. He can't believe how bossy she is and says that he is screwed between her and I. Just wait, it will be even worse if BP is a girl :-)

A Candle in The Cake
For my birthday Mike got me an ice cream cake. He put 2 candles in it and both he and Gwen sang to me. Fast forward to today. We promised Gwen ice cream cake if she pooped on the potty. She did so she got her cake. Of course she wanted a candle in it. So what did we do? We sang:
Happy Pooping To You
Happy Pooping To You
Happy Pooping To Gwen
Happy Pooping To You!
She then blew out the candle.
Happy Pooping To You
Happy Pooping To You
Happy Pooping To Gwen
Happy Pooping To You!
She then blew out the candle.

BP Update!
You may be asking yourself what BP stands for. Well that is what I will be calling the new baby. It stands for Baby Pink. For those of you reading, please don't get your hopes up, it has nothing to do with the sex of the baby (we are not going to find out ahead of time). When we ask Gwen what she wants to name the baby, she says "Pink". Gwen was always called Baby J, so this baby will be called Baby Pink, or BP for short.
Now that we have clarified the nickname of the new baby, I should report that I had a great appointment today. My blood pressure is perfect (110/60) and BP's heart rate is 150. I am a 15.5 weeks pg and have put on 4 lbs. I wish I could say I was feeling well, but I'm not. I started to get some energy back and feel better, but was then slammed with a cold. I haven't felt good in almost 11 weeks and am so ready to exercise again and be a productive citizen of society. The lack of exercise has caused me to feel sluggish, stiff, and my back/neck are killing me. Oh well, the end result will be worth it!!
Since I moved to Highlands Ranch I now have a new OBGYN office. It is made up of 8 women (6 doctors and 2 NPs). The nursing staff is huge as well. I have yet to see the same doctor twice or the same nurse twice, but without fail the first thing someone says after they look at my chart is "wow, you had a fast labor, we will have to watch that". I may have to have Mike take a class on how to give birth in the car :-)
I know I promised a picture, but I don't have one. I will post one this weekend. I definitely look pregnant and none of my pants fit. My next update on BP will probably be after my next appointment.......which is, shockingly enough, going to be my 21 week ultrasound. How on earth is this pregnancy going so fast???

Wordless.............Tuesday??
Well with some words............
Since tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment for the second child (already neglected) I figured I should use that day to post my very first pregnancy photo and tell about the appointment/pregnancy. So today I am giving you a photo that melts my heart. It's true love at its best.
