Gwen is doing great. She is 36.5" tall (3 feet) which is in the 50th percentile and her weight is 32 lbs which is in the 60th percentile. Pretty much she is average. She got her first eye exam and it was so funny. They had shapes she had to identify. Well this one shape was supposed to be a cow, but I don't think she thought it looked like a cow. When the nurse would say "What is this", she replied "It kinda looks like a cow". Made everyone laugh. We were also unsuccessful with her peeing in a cup. Do they really think a 3 year old could pee in a cup??? She got 2 shots. She cried so hard and said "I don't like shots, they hurt". Very observant. They had her in her undies in a paper gown. It was too cute. All in all she did great. She was a little wild and very talkative, but did what she was supposed to. I am wondering if the promise of M&M's helped with that.
Leo is gigantic. He 24.25" tall (90%), weights 13 lbs 11 oz (90%) and his head is in the 90th percentile. He had 5 shots. One would think he would nap all day or it would make him sleepy.......nope, he is against sleep.
I honestly have no idea how I am going to function when I go back to work in 2 weeks. I figure since Leo still eats every 3 hours, even at night, I will average 5 hours of sleep, in two 2.5 hour shifts. I will then have to work a 9 hour day, spend 1 hour in the car commuting, make dinner, put kids to bed.....etc. I honestly don't want to waste my weekends running errands and doing laundry, but with my limited time during the week, that may end up being my life. I better start a schedule sooner rather than later because I barely have time to shower now and I am not gone 10+ hours a day.
