Wow, a Shockingly Positive Doctor's Appointment

I had a doctor's appointment today and it actually went really smoothly.  I got there, peed in the cup, and the nurse was waiting for me.  I got weighed in (am up a total of 26 lbs this pregnancy, loving the morning weigh ins rather than the evening weigh ins) and immediately put in a room.   The doctor was in the room within 5 minutes.  Lately I have been waiting a minimum of an hour so this was such a pleasant surprise. 

My blood pressure is normal.  The baby's heart rate is up to 140 (has been in the 120's for weeks).  I am 3 cm dilated and 60% effaced.  As miserable as I am (Mike told me this morning I haven't been pleasant this entire pregnancy) we decided to let this pregnancy run its course without any intervention.  After a week of 100 degree weather, we'll see if I change my mind next Monday during my next, and hopefully last, visit.

During the appointment I got really excited to hold/meet the new baby. (see the crazy mood swings)
