Successful Transition to "Big Girl Bed"

This weekend we converted Gwen's crib into a toddler bed.  We are referring to it as her "Big Girl Bed".  She will sleep in the toddler bed until we get her a twin bed ("Big Sister Bed") this spring.  She knows once she is in her "Big Sister Bed" that BP will be sleeping in her crib.  She is actually okay with that.  Very surprising since she is pretty possessive of her stuff (she always says "It's mines"). 

Anyway, the transition was very successful.  During nap time she would play for 2 hours or so in her room before she would finally lay down to nap (she would still nap 2 hours).  At bed time she went right down and fell asleep.  On Sunday she played in her room until we called her at 8:00 am!!  She didn't get up to leave her room or anything.  I was really worried and didn't sleep well on Saturday night.  Once again she proved me wrong.
