BP Update!

You may be asking yourself what BP stands for.  Well that is what I will be calling the new baby.  It stands for Baby Pink.  For those of you reading, please don't get your hopes up, it has nothing to do with the sex of the baby (we are not going to find out ahead of time).  When we ask Gwen what she wants to name the baby, she says "Pink".  Gwen was always called Baby J, so this baby will be called Baby Pink, or BP for short.

Now that we have clarified the nickname of the new baby, I should report that I had a great appointment today.  My blood pressure is perfect (110/60) and BP's heart rate is 150.  I am a 15.5 weeks pg and have put on 4 lbs.  I wish I could say I was feeling well, but I'm not.  I started to get some energy back and feel better, but was then slammed with a cold.  I haven't felt good in almost 11 weeks and am so ready to exercise again and be a productive citizen of society.  The lack of exercise has caused me to feel sluggish, stiff, and my back/neck are killing me.  Oh well, the end result will be worth it!!

Since I moved to Highlands Ranch I now have a new OBGYN office.  It is made up of 8 women (6 doctors and 2 NPs).  The nursing staff is huge as well.  I have yet to see the same doctor twice or the same nurse twice, but without fail the first thing someone says after they look at my chart is "wow, you had a fast labor, we will have to watch that".  I may have to have Mike take a class on how to give birth in the car :-)

I know I promised a picture, but I don't have one.  I will post one this weekend.  I definitely look pregnant and none of my pants fit.   My next update on BP will probably be after my next appointment.......which is, shockingly enough, going to be my 21 week ultrasound.  How on earth is this pregnancy going so fast???
