Pizza & Beer

As Papa J says "Food and beer have always been Jurbala's trademark".  Well Leo is a true Jurbala and he proved it tonight.  Leo crawled for the first time today to a piece of pizza.  Once the pizza was taken away, he turned around and crawled towards Mike's beer (you can see in the pic below).  I am so proud of him, yet kinda feel like it's wrong in a way :-)

Park Fun

We are loving the warm weather and are really looking forward to this summer.  We purchased a backpack to carry Leo in so that we could go hiking.  We also purchased a double stroller that you can pull behind a bike or run with.  It is night and day above the double stroller we currently have.  The kiddos are a bit smushed in there, but it makes doing anything, much easier.  We have been having a great time going to parks and riding around.

Leo................

.....is 10 months old.  I can't believe it.  I have already booked a location for his first birthday party and will be ordering the invites next week. 

.....waves at everybody.  It's so cute.  It's a mix between Miss America and Arsenio Hall.

.....can go from laying down to sitting and vice versa.

.....does not crawl yet.  He scoots around and can pretty much get anything he needs.  Now when we try and put him on his hands and knees, he immediately goes to sitting.  Not big into the crawling thing.

.....can pull himself up onto the coffee table or small table at daycare.

.....is an eater.............big time.

.....has 4 teeth and another one coming in. 

.....smiles so much that people take notice.  A friend asked me the other day if he is always this happy.  He is with the exception of when he is hungry and with his love/hate relationship with the changing table.

.....can palm a ball.  He loves balls and anything with wheels.  He is a true little boy.

.....does not sleep at daycare, but sleeps great at night and takes great naps on the weekends. 

.....puts everything into his mouth.  He gets into everything.  Now that he is more mobile we have to watch out.  Luckily Gwen is smart so she knows to keep small things away from him.

.....sharted in the bathtub a little while ago.  It was gross. He seriously poops 5+ times a day.

......is the CUTEST little boy.  He melts my heart, he brightens my life, and there is no place I would rather be than sitting and cuddling with him. 

Mother's Day 2012

I cried when I learned that my mother would be in Denver for Mother's Day.  I hadn't spent a Mother's Day with her in 10 years.  We had a wonderful time.  We went to Panzanos for brunch and had too much to eat and drink.  Mom loved it so much that she mentioned she may come out here again for Mother's Day.  That would be wonderful!!  We then put on comfy clothes and watched TV most of the day.  You can't ask for anything better than that...............well the kiddos did make me pots and bought me stackable mother's rings, so I guess it can!!!

(Don't laugh too hard at the pictures.  I realized how hard it is to get everyone to smile and look at one place.  Best I could do.....oh and Gwen thought it was funny to keep her eyes closed during pictures)

Gwen Got Her Ears Pierced

I took Gwen to Get her ears pierced today! Little did I know that this mall would make Sangertown look nice. She did great. Didn't even flinch!! I am so proud of her and she looks adorable in her pink heart earrings. Shockingly enough, pink is her birthstone. Fits her perfectly!!
